Hi There
I live on the beautiful East Coast of australia and
I am on my way, to becoming a complete new member for your hang forum
I am so interested to receiving a hang and still havn't worked out the right
procedure, to receive one, I suppose this is my beginning
at present I am playing the crystal bowls and the monocord and since I heard
the hang only one month ago, I am sooooo interested in introducing the sound of
the hang to my repertoire, I wonder if I am the only who got hooked on this sound
by hearing it only once.?
Could you please inform me what it is that I have to do in order to obtain one of your
hang drums
can't wait to hear from you
I hear it can take a long time to get one , however long it will take, I am prepared to wait
looking forward to your reply
kind regards
Robert

Welcome Robert!

First you could read Hang? What is that? and How do I aquire a Hang?. That will help you to understand what the hang is and answer your questions, I hope. There are a lot of other interesting articles at hangblog.org.

If you'll have the chance to meet Mc C (the man with thousand accents  ), go and listen to his music :) You won't regret it.

Good luck on your way to the hang.

Hallo Robert,

welcome on the Hangforum. :)
Yes, a lot of people are immediately captured from the Hangsound. Where do you heard the Hang? Live or on Youtube?

Follow the links from Beatzekatze to the Hangblog. There you find a lot of helpfull informations. The Hangforum is not a project from the Hangmakers.
By the way. Hang is not a "Hang drum". This is only a misunderstanding.
A lot of people use the word Hangdrum, but this made it not correct.
Hang is only Hang, which means "Hand" in the language and dialect from the town where the Hang is born and made.

Have fun on the forum.

Frank
